Mica Hardware is always here for you to inspire you with arts & crafts projects using items  you may have already in your home. Don’t throw those empty wine bottles away – make something amazing out of them. Upcycle those empty wine bottles and spirits bottles into a great Mother’s Day Gift, whilst having some DIY fun!

You will need:

– Clean and dry bottles

– Spray paint colour of your choice

– Pencil

– Paper

– Scissors

– Old book pages

– Wood glue 

Method

  1. Spray Paint your wine bottles with the colour of your choice.
  2. While your wine bottles dry, find an image off the internet you like and draw the silhouette of the image (you can also print this out if you have the resources).
  3. Find an old book and rip a page out. Cut your chosen image down to size and place it on the book page.
  4. Spread the wood glue onto the back side of the image and place on the bottle. Next, spread wood glue over the top of your image to seal it.
  5. Once you are happy with your beautifully decorated wine bottle, place it on display for everyone to see!
