TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Promoter

  • The promoter of this competition is Mica Hardware (“the Promoter”).

2. Competition Period

  • The competition runs from 19 May 2026 to 31 May 2026, both days inclusive. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered.

3. Eligibility

  • The competition is open to all South African residents aged 18 years or older.
  • Employees of Mica Hardware, its associated companies, advertising agencies, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must:

  • Purchase any 1 of the 9 new Duram ArmaGuard colours from a participating Mica Hardware store during the competition period.
  • Scan the QR code or visit the competition entry page.
  • Upload a clear, legible copy of their till slip as proof of purchase.
  • Complete the entry form with all required personal details.
  • Answer the competition question:
    “Which of the 9 NEW ArmaGuard colours did you purchase?”

5. Entry Requirements

  • Each valid till slip equals one entry.
  • Multiple entries are permitted, provided each entry is supported by a unique till slip.
  • Incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.

6. Prize

  • The prize is R50,000 cash.
  • The prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal value if necessary.

7. Winner Selection & Notification

  • The winner will be selected via a random draw from all valid entries and will be notified by telephone/email no later than 12 June 2026.
  • The draw will take place after the competition closing date.
  • The winner will be contacted using the details provided on entry.
  • If the winner cannot be reached within 5 working days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

8. Verification

  • The winner may be required to provide proof of identity and original proof of purchase.
  • Failure to provide valid documentation will result in disqualification.

9. General

  • By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time without prior notice.
  • The Promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or system failures.
  • By entering, participants consent to the use of their name for promotional purposes without additional compensation.

10. Data Protection

  • Personal information collected will be used solely for the purpose of administering this competition and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

11. Important Notice: Beware of Scams

  • Mica Hardware will never ask for any payment to enter or claim this prize.
  • We will never request your banking details or ID number as part of the entry process or prize fulfilment via unofficial channels.
  • All official communication will come directly from Mica Hardware or authorised representatives.
  • If you are contacted by anyone claiming to be from Mica, do not share personal information and report it to your nearest Mica store.
